Bracken Ridge State School is located in the northern
suburbs of Brisbane, the capital of Queensland. Queensland is the second
largest state, in area, in Australia.

The suburb of Bracken Ridge is part of the Brisbane City Council. Brisbane is found in the South-East corner of Queensland and with a population of over one million citizens, it is the largest city in Queensland.
The suburb of Bracken Ridge is located in the Sandgate area, close to the shores of Moreton Bay. The map below shows the immediate area surrounding Bracken Ridge State School. As can be seen the suburb of Bracken Ridge is predominately residential, with very little industrial activity in the area.
